Privacy

Privacy in the account menu (your name at the bottom of the Console sidebar) controls the optional analytics that Verdictan can collect while you use the Console. Both options are off until you turn them on. Your choice is saved with your account, so it applies in every browser where you sign in.

These settings apply only to Console analytics. They do not change what your gateways capture in History, the usage records, or the Trail audit records of your organization.

Privacy page with the Product analytics and Performance diagnostics switches, both off, the Save preferences button, and the Essential services section with links to the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

What each option collects

OptionWhat it is forWhat it never includes
Product analyticsVisits and setup steps, so Verdictan can improve the Console. These records can be linked to your account.Form contents, AI prompts, and AI responses
Performance diagnosticsPage speed and technical errors, so Verdictan can find slow pages and investigate errors.Form contents, AI prompts, and AI responses

Essential services are always on: the sign-in cookies, the security controls, and your saved preferences. The Console cannot operate without them, so they have no switch.

Change your choice

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Privacy.
  2. Turn Product analytics or Performance diagnostics on or off.
  3. Select Save preferences.

The page shows Privacy preferences saved. when the change is saved. If the Console cannot load your preferences, it keeps both options off.

Browser privacy signals

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the Console keeps both options off in that browser, even when your account setting is on. The Privacy page then shows a notice about this browser setting.

Diagnostics on these docs

The docs ask separately about performance diagnostics on the docs pages. To change that choice, select Cookie preferences at the bottom of any docs page. The Console setting and the docs setting do not change each other.
