Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide reporting information. This policy also covers similar technologies such as localStorage used by this website.
2. Cookies we use
The Verdictan website uses a minimal set of cookies and storage mechanisms. We categorize them as follows:
Essential storage supports sign-in, security and remembering your consent choices. Saved interface settings remember choices you make, such as the Console region.
Verdictan does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, or any other third-party analytics, advertising, remarketing, or social-media tracking service on this website.
3. How to manage cookies
Use Manage preferences in the banner or Privacy preferences in the footer to open Storage preferences. You can independently allow or decline product analytics and performance diagnostics. Expand View disclosures to see storage names, providers, types, expiration and purposes. Choices apply separately to each site in this browser and are valid for 90 days. Local Storage entries may remain on the device until replaced or cleared. You can also block or delete site data through your browser settings; blocking essential storage may affect sign-in or other functionality.
Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
4. Analytics configuration
Optional first-party product analytics records visits and setup milestones only with consent. A random journey identifier may be linked to an account when permitted. Optional performance diagnostics measures page speed and technical errors when consent and service configuration both allow it. These controls do not enable advertising, session recording, or collection of form contents, prompts or responses. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override optional analytics consent. Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection; it does not remove essential sign-in storage. Server-side security and operational logs are separate from these optional browser controls.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
