About this template

An unfiled invention loses value the moment it becomes public. Prior art searching with a model puts a description of that invention into a request. Claim language and patentability opinions carry a second risk, because a fluent answer can read as a legal conclusion.

Patent teams reach for this starter when prior art searches and claim summaries already use a model. A matter number or docket number in the prompt is masked first. Blocked wording covers privileged and confidential, sealed filing, and settlement amount. An invention disclosure marked with those words is refused rather than trimmed.

Prior art needs care. The citation check compares references against the context you provide, and by default it flags a weak reference instead of stopping the answer. A flagged citation still returns to the researcher, so confirmation of every reference remains manual work.

The practice screen stops output that tells a reader to file this lawsuit or sign this settlement. A privilege screen sits in the chain with nothing configured in it. Scoring demands 0.90 combined, and it weighs relevance and accuracy equally at 0.78 and 0.80. Very short answers fail, since the gate wants 120 characters and two sentences.

Patentability, filing strategy and the duty of disclosure stay with a qualified attorney or agent. History capture records metadata about each call and not the text of an invention description. The oversight step waits for configuration, so no reviewer is notified yet. Confidentiality duties for unfiled inventions remain a contractual and procedural matter for the firm.

Adapt the template in three steps

1

Review the scope

Confirm that the regions, source references, control areas and deployment options fit your use case.

2

Adapt the configuration

Open the template in the Verdictan console. Set its policies, thresholds, routing and review requirements for your environment.

3

Test before deployment

Test each policy outcome. Confirm that allowed, redacted, blocked and reviewed requests behave as expected.
