About this template
Investigative work runs on records that a court will examine later. An assistant that helps summarize a report can also widen access to an informant name or a sealed warrant. Agencies that want the drafting and lookup help can have it, with identification, surveillance and tracking kept away from the assistant.
Access comes first in this starter. A criminal justice access mode requires authentication, more than one factor and a session that expires after 30 minutes. The role check then demands a user, an organization, a badge and a clearance level. An investigator who cannot present that context does not reach the model.
Redaction masks case and incident numbers, victim and witness details, informant identifiers, warrant numbers, officer notes and body camera serials. Informant, undercover operation, ongoing investigation, sealed warrant and surveillance target references are blocked rather than masked. Evidence locker, chain of custody and forensic report phrasing is blocked as well.
Tool control matters more here than in most starters. Case search, statute lookup and warrant status checks are allowed. Surveillance access, wiretap control, facial recognition and location tracking are denied, which keeps the assistant out of the identification business. Automated traffic detection refuses a client above six requests in five minutes.
A bias watch also runs on the response, but it is a monitoring hook rather than a fairness control. It needs hiring or promotion wording in the request, so policing prompts never reach it and no disparate risk surfaces. A source is required at 0.90 confidence, and the scoring gate needs a combined 0.85 with accuracy at 0.90. An answer under either mark is blocked, so a thin summary never lands in a case file. Warrant sufficiency, disclosure duties and evidence handling stay with sworn personnel and counsel.
