About this template
An internal assistant is attractive because it can see everything. That is also the problem. This starter assumes the assistant will be asked for payroll notes, board material and credentials, sometimes in the same week.
Reading is allowed and acting is not. Document search is the single permitted tool. A shell, code execution and a database write are each named as refused, so a helpful answer never becomes an unreviewed change. Tool requests are inspected on the gateway rather than by an outside service.
Prompts pass injection screening, then masking of key and session identifier patterns. A block on the words private key, secret and token keeps a pasted credential from reaching the model. Responses must hit a combined 0.84, with relevance 0.78 and accuracy 0.80, plus 120 characters and two sentences.
Role separation is the gap to close first. No role check runs in this chain, so the assistant treats every authenticated caller alike. Match tool access and data scope to each role in the systems behind the gateway. The review point holds no settings, and audit marking records activity without keeping it for you.
