About this template

The emergency operations center is the worst place to discover that a summary was wrong. Under load, people trust whatever appears on the shared display. An agency that lets a model draft situation reports has to decide in advance what that draft is allowed to be. This starter is that decision written down.

During an activation, speed and authority pull against each other. A planning section chief will accept a drafted situation summary in seconds and act on it in minutes. The starter is built so that the draft carries visible limits when it arrives.

One caution deserves the front of the list. Streamed output does not pass through grounding measurement, output scoring or the review point. If your console streams tokens to a screen in the operations room, those three checks are simply not applied to that display.

For answers that are not streamed, the floor is a combined 0.86 with relevance at 0.78 and accuracy at 0.80. A short reply under 120 characters fails the same test. Grounding measurement flags a situation claim that the supplied context does not carry, and it flags rather than blocks unless you change that setting.

Redaction masks case, docket and matter numbers before a prompt leaves the gateway. A mention of controlled unclassified information, a sealed filing or an investigative file stops the request. Redacted history capture records the traffic, including blocked attempts, which supports an after action review. Command authority, resource orders and life safety calls remain with your incident commander.

Adapt the template in three steps

1

Review the scope

Confirm that the regions, source references, control areas and deployment options fit your use case.

2

Adapt the configuration

Open the template in the Verdictan console. Set its policies, thresholds, routing and review requirements for your environment.

3

Test before deployment

Test each policy outcome. Confirm that allowed, redacted, blocked and reviewed requests behave as expected.
